OUR PHILOSOPHY OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

It is our belief at Middle Valley Academy, that when the school, the Church, and the home partner together for the holistic development of a child, amazing things can happen in the lives of all who are involved.

Home

We truly believe that “children are a heritage from the Lord,” (Psalm 127:3) and that He puts families together. Parent’s have the incredible responsibility and privilege to positively impact their children for life and are the primary source of influence in their child’s physical, social, emotional and spiritual development.  At MVA we want to partner with families and walk alongside them in this process. We also provide parenting resources for that little extra help and encouragement to parents along the way.

school

Children spend years, and hundreds of hours in a school setting.  The school environment plays a very influential role in the lives of children.  These early years are crucial for formation and development and we are passionate about the part we get to play as Christian educators.  We believe God has a special place in His heart for children, (Luke 18:15-17) and that He designed us and created us for a purpose and for His glory.  We want all of our children at MVA to know this. Because of this, we have worked hard to create a fun, safe, loving environment where children can learn about God’s love while also learning age appropriate educational and life skills from a biblical worldview that will help form a foundation of learning that will last a lifetime.

church

We believe that it is important for families to be actively involved in a local church family where together they can grow spiritually and learn to serve. (Hebrews 10:24-26) We want the children in our school to learn about God’s love for them, along with other Biblical principles and service to others.  At Middle Valley Academy, our teachers are all part of local churches and as believers, part of a global Church family. We are not perfect, but we strive daily to model Christ and His Church to our school families and the children we have been entrusted with for this season.
